Katamari Damacy OST is currenttly making me very happy. it is very noise pop. people are so creative. all future music i make needs some of this. so much texcture.coding on the bus makes me sick and i'm going to buy a curry. Also Pike. out today. i thiink for. its many imperfections there is so many good sounds that i. am excited i know how to make. very happy and a bit dumb today. lezfest was a great night. love that people danced lots. a bad party has no dancing at all. there is a bug michigan gig thursdayand the girls are ready 2 rock out and roll as ever. yay! i am soooo carsick now.

things fall apart and then into place always. i think in terms of being on a stage i am at a peak of being able to roll with the punches. a couple years of being around improv noise musicians will do that to you i think. pretty cool. a pic of us bugs on wednesday ♡

I have made the decision to wait fifteen minutes instead of getting on the bus full of school children. It's feeling very autumn so I don't mind sitting a bit. Feeling like I want to see a big tree. I have a thing about big trees. They make me feel very good but there aren't enough near me. The city has terrible tree cover (someone told me once). I spent my first winter in the city periodically catching the train up to my friend’s who lives an hour or so away. The train line follows a river up through the valley and past a ton of really great trees and it is very special and cool. My Bell Rings has very train on tracks percussion. Although that first winter I was probably rediscovering my love for sonic youth for the fourth or fifth time in my life. Sweet Shine feels very train also. Or maybe kim gordon is just yelling im coming home and I’ve associated it with travel. I do intend to follow through on the urge although I will be driving a lot more soon so who knows when a train will be the ideal mode. Trips to the river where I can actually pull over might be a different kind of special. Everything is a bit aged and weird feeling up there but it just adds to the overall feeling I think. VHS store sign is still up. That sort of thing. A really dimly lit cafe with a discomforting amount of vacant floor space. Old people giving their very best I know what you are stares from a train seat facing you. Some really good stores for buying little things to hang on your bag.
